NuoraNORD open call got a considerable number (27) of excellent applicants from each country. The project coordinator CircusInfo Finland together with the partners Pievilcigas pilsetvides biedriba/ Re Riga! Festival, Menu spaustuve/ Arts Printing House, Manegen and Baltic-Nordic Circus Network have now completed the selection process and the selected participants are:

The first workshop of the NuoraNORD project will take place in Riga, Latvia during April 10–11, 2018. The topic of the workshop is Artistic and producer roles in performing arts and it is led by tour manager Louise-Michèle You from L’Avant Courrier. The NuoraNORD activities are mainly for the selected participants only.
NuoraNORD project is aimed at young Baltic and Nordic circus companies struggling in becoming established. The project focuses on providing the young circus companies with knowledge and skills on strategic thinking and planning as well as long-term sustainable development.
The project is carried out through workshops during the year 2018. In total four workshops will be arranged, one in each partner country. From each country, two producers or artists will take part in all the workshops. The project creates new international connections between participating producers and artists, thus, it lays a solid ground also for future collaboration.The project is supported by Nordic Culture Point.
